Becoming August is Anna Libby on Vocals, Allen Higgins on Guitar, Jason Marshall on Bass, Sean McNeil on Drums & Keyboard.
What is Becoming August? If you look up in Webster's August means Inspiring Awe. Sounds like we're a little stuck on ourselves. Not So. But we do feel a lot of inspiration from the successful musicians that have come before us. For me, Music Is Life and it's the one thing in my head that never goes away no matter what's happening in the outside world. This album we recorded called "Twenty One" and the band we've assembled are a crossroads for me, a sort of stepping outside the box into unchartered waters. Sending your songs out into the world is never an easy thing but I am happy with the way the album turned out. Like our live shows we do it old school. Real musicians playing real tracks with real instruments. No samples, no edits, no computer generated whatever. Just Real American Rock played to the best of our abilities. I hope you enjoy the record and our live shows, and I hope you are inspired to pick up an instrument, write a song, start a band or whatever. Fear nothing, and create The Soundtrack of your life!
Best of Luck,
Higmo
